MCRDP guides clients in creating inspiring and meaningful residential interiors—spaces that reflect the style, character, and needs of those who call them home

My work centers around the belief that a thoughtful and well-invested home enriches the inhabitant’s lives and enhances its long-term value.

To design well, one must go beyond aesthetics to understand the architectural heritage of a space, the cultural and historical context of its surroundings, and the lifestyles of those who will call it home. Every element, from the broader setting down to the smallest decorative object, plays a role in shaping a space with depth and authenticity.

Research is at the heart of my design process. I am a true enthusiast—someone who loves to dive deep into a subject, uncovering layers of meaning and history to inform every decision.

My approach marries analytical precision with a creative and adventurous spirit—blending form and function in unexpected yet deeply considered ways.

The result is a home that defies easy categorization. It does not fit into a single style or trend but instead bears the unmistakable imprint of its inhabitants—crafted with thoughtfulness, curiosity, and a commitment to lasting beauty.

Michael Camacho

Michael’s 19-year career in private equity and investment banking took him to New York, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, and London—cities that have shaped his design perspective and aesthetic sensibility. His passion for architecture, iconic furniture, and modern and contemporary art began in high school. What was once a serious hobby that was nurtured in all of the places he has lived, has now become his profession.

His own home—a duplex in the heart of Amsterdam and a nearly two-year passion project—was featured in Architectural Digest Germany, Spain, France, and Mexico, as well as Manera Spain. This recognition, earned as a virtual outsider to the design industry, underscores his instinctive eye and distinctive approach.

Now, Michael selectively advises residential clients on their interiors, bringing the same intellectual rigor, meticulous project management, careful stakeholder management, and investment-minded approach that defined his finance career. His keen observational skills and willingness to challenge conventions allow him to craft spaces that are both thoughtful and compelling.

“Mike and Philipp's interior is characterized by depth and plasticity. Their interior design respects the history of a 300-year-old house and at the same time captures the vibe and energy of a modern city. As in a painting, very different layers overlap, and only then does the whole thing come together - and well!”
